Hackney Visual Arts Cluster (HVAC) is a unique collaboration of contemporary galleries, studio providers and arts organisations based in the London Borough of Hackney. The Cluster exists to strengthen the visual arts sector and contribute to the social, economic and cultural life of the borough in collaboration with Hackney Council.

Current Aims of HVAC include:
- Consolidating the visual arts in Hackney
- Retaining and developing audiences for the visual arts sector
- Contributing to relevant Hackney Council strategies ie cultural and planning
- Examining barriers to audience development and visitor economy in the borough
- Improving links between the visual arts and tourism initiatives
- Developing joint marketing initiatives both within the borough and across London.
- Maximising potential benefits for the visual arts from the 2012 Olympics
- Developing joint initiatives to raise the profile of the visual arts in the borough
- Working in partnership
to attract inward investment into the visual arts in the borough
