The films in this list relate to the fine arts and ‘traditional’ media (painting, sculpture, etc.). In some cases, the artist who has made the work is more well-known for their work in other media (Susan Hiller, the Fluxus group, Cerith Wyn Evans, John Latham, Robert Morris, John Cage, Mark Wallinger), or the work itself is a profile of a well-known artist (Warhol, Beuys, Naumann). In others, the works themselves take their inspirations from particular artists or their works, or address themes or subjects drawn from painting or sculpture.
