The films in this list utilise 'found footage', whether imagery recorded from TV or scavenged feature film footage. Sometimes this involves lingering over and looping a very small section of footage (Martin Arnold, Raphael Montanez Ortiz); in other works, it leads to eclectic pop cultural collages (Thomas Draschan, People Like Us, Scratch Video). The results can be funny (Animal Charm, George Barber, Owen Land), satirical (Nelson Henrick, Gorilla Tapes, Ivan Zulueta), elegaic (Alan Berliner, Lewis Klahr, Michael Wallin), and even symphonic (Alfred Leslie).
