Impossible is about the desire for freedom of movement, the idea of wanting to take steps that are light, magical and full of joy. The disabled adult in the film wonders how things would have been if she was full bodied. She has a very idealised view of being physically well, an acrobat. Her thoughts are shown as if in a dream, only in the last image are we brought near reality.
