The Experimental Archive is a programme of New Zealand experimental film screening at venues in Europe in Autumn 2009. Presented here are four artists films from the programme whose themes are often mapped in New Zealand feature film cinema; the road movie, the coming of age story, the politics of race and identity.

The Experimental Archive screens at the following venues and dates: Site Gallery, Sheffield (15 Oct); Arsenal, Berlin (21 Oct), WORM, Rotterdam (28 Oct). Past dates include: Hamburg Film Festival (Zeise Cinema, Altona, 28 Sept) and Kunstmuseum, Liechtenstein (30 Sept).
