What's On / From the LUX collection: Moon Landings

July 2009 sees the fortieth anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. The grainy footage of Neil Armstrong walking on the moon provided one of the defining images of the era and unsurprisingly inspired a response from artists - sometimes celebratory, sometimes more laconic. With the upcoming exhibition Earth-Moon-Earth at Djanogly Art Gallery in June and a season of related films at the BFI in July, here is a small selection of films which take the measure of man in the cosmos.
