The New Film (commissioned for Photo Cairo 4) is an indirect portrait of President Mubarak through the history of Egyptian cinema from the last thirty years. (Raed Yassin, born in Beirut, Lebanon in 1979; lives and works in Beirut. Yassin is a video, sound and visual artist and also works as a musician. Recent exhibitions and venues include the Delfina Foundation and Cafe Oto, London, 2011; Manifesta 8, Murcia, 2010; and Offspring, De Ateliers, Amsterdam, 2010.)
